Person-first versus place-first
These are two genuinely different prospecting motions. Person-first assumes you can name the target and only need their details. Place-first assumes you know the geography and the category, and need to discover who exists. For anyone selling into local trades, the discovery half is the hard part — there is no directory of every roofer within thirty kilometres except the map itself.
What the map gives you that a profile does not
A listing carries commercial signal a contact record never will: rating, review count, whether a website exists at all, how recently anyone posted photos. That is a rough but real read on how much attention the business pays to its own marketing, which is exactly what you need to decide whether to call. Weak local SEO is a sales trigger; a job title is not.
Where Lusha stays better
If your deal needs a named decision-maker and an email address, Lusha does something FindLeadly does not attempt. Google does not publish business emails, so we do not pretend to have them. Some teams run both: build the territory here, then look up individuals at the larger firms that warrant it.
